Vlad Dracula also known as Vlad the Impaler was the Prince of Wallachia
who was born in Romania in 1441. It is safe to say that Vlad ruled with an
iron fist, anyone who he felt was a threat would suffer a hideous death.
When writing his book Dracula, Bram Stoker use vlad as the inspiration for
Count Dracula. In their Live by the Sword series Sideshow Collectables has
captured Vlad in all his evilness.
Sideshow offered Vlad in two versions an exclusive
version limited to 500 pieces that included a decapitated head and the
version that we are reviewing, which was a run of 3000 pieces.
Review
The box is
excellent and it is beautifully decorated with pictures of the figure, and
it
truly adds to the experience and the figure's collectability.

The head sculpt is awesome, the detail of the facile
features took my breath away. The most striking feature was the eyes I
swear the figure was looking right through me. Upon close inspection, the
eyes even have a red blood shot look to them. The paint job was first class
no runs or defects were found. The body is extremely possible and all
of the joints are solid and well designed. The detail of the hands was also
impressive; It is safe to say there is a lot
of quality in this figure.

The costume is fantastic! The figure is sporting red
pants, black tunic, knee high boots, and a velour jacket that is trimmed in
fur.
Vlad comes with some really cool accessories. Our
version included a hat with a feather, sword, gold
challis with blood, mace, and pike. All of the accessories were extremely
detailed and nicely done.

Summary:
Sideshows Vlad the Impaler is a fantastic piece that
