| New Bright - Jeep Rubicon
In our
2004 Holiday Wish list we featured new Bright's 1/6th scale Jeep
Rubicon, at the time we did not provide a full review expecting to have
one in a future issue. The review for the Rubicon has been
on my to do list for a few months now and as you can tell I have been
procrastinating. Last month my brother came
up from Florida for a visit,b so I figured this was as good a time as any to take the Jeep to
the beach for a spin.

Review
The box is huge and very impressive, it's front has
a clear plastic window and an opening were you can test the
lights and sound before you even take out the truck

| New Brights Jeep Rubicon is a pretty cool RC which is
definitely suited to the beginners market. If your looking for a high
performance vehicle to burn up the street this is not your type of Jeep.
However, if you are looking for a moderately priced car that requires
minimal maintenance and can be used in or out of the house this is your
ride. The Jeep has six speeds three in high gear and 3 in low gear. It
also has 4 wheel independent suspension, working lights and turn
signals, motor sound and a horn.
The kit comes with everything you need to get on the road; it
includes a battery,
battery charger, and remote control
The only drawback to the car is you can not fit a figure behind the
drivers seat.

| While putting the Jeep through some maneuvers at the local
beach there was an accident and I drove it into the water; I have to
admit I'm impressed, once the battery compartment was dried out the Jeep
was ready to go. |

evaluation.

Summary: The New Bright Jeep
Rubicon is a definite keeper and a good value at $99 complete.
