| Ignite Industries Knight of Outremer
1187 - 1344 AD Ignite's latest figure in their Crusader series
is called Knight of Outremer. |
|
Review
Let me start by saying this is a great figure. The
box is the standard Ignite book type that is nicely illustrated with a
image of the Knight of Outremer on the front and a battle raging in the
background. On the inside cover there is a time line of the Outremer's,
and the figure is viewable behind a plastic inner box. The back of the
box has a history of the Outremer's and some photos of the
accessories.

 |
| The head sculpt has a lot of character and a little more
detail than the other Ignite figures we have reviewed in the past. As
with all Ignite figures the paint is superbly done not one blemish or
defect.
The body is a standard Ignite figure that is very articulate and
poses very well. There was a slight problem with our test figure, it's
ankles were very loose and it made it very difficult to pose the Knight
without a stand.

The Outremer's costume consist of a red fur
trimmed outer tunic, complete chain mail suit, red inner tunic, padded
tunic, and leggings. Even though this costume is very similar and uses
many of the same elements from the other crusade figures, the
addition of the fur trimmed outer tunic makes this costume. This extra
detail sets it
apart from the other Crusade figures.
|
|
| All of the accessories are die-cast and plastic and are
superbly done. The Outremer comes with a dagger, sword, shield, and
awesome die-cast helmet that is very detailed it even has hammer marks
on the inside. |
 |
Summary:
Over all this is a great figure despite
the loose foot, the costume is great and the accessories are some of the
best on the market today. If your collecting medieval figures I definitely
recommend you add this figure to your collection.
