| Ignite Industries Roman Legions March
Pack The March Pack is the forth figure in Ignite's Roman series.
This figure depicts a legionary (foot soldier) with his gear. |
|
Review
The box is a book type that we have all become to
expect from Ignite. It is nicely illustrated with a illustration of the
figure on the front with legionaries marching in the background.
Once opened you get your first view of the figure and it's cash of
accessories. The inside cover has a mythical story on how Rome was
created and the seven kings. The back of the box displays some of the
accessories and more information on the founding of Rome and the fable
of Romulus and Remus. In short this box is great and makes an excellent
display box.

| The head sculpt is is definitely up to Ignites usual
standards. It is excellently painted with no defects.
The body is the standard Ignite figure which is very articulate and
poses well. When compared to other Ignite figures that I have reviewed
in the past this figure seams a little tighter and poses allot easier. |

|
The figure is sporting a red tunic, white shorts,
sandals, and a leather bet with brass buckle. Overall the costume is
simple and nicely done and adds to the figures authentic look.

| The accessories are superb and the highlight of this
figure. Ignite has deviated from their formula a little with the March
Pack, they are using a mix of both die-cast and plastic parts as oppose
to all die-cast. This change does not affect the quality of the product
but personally I hope they return to all die-cast in the future since it
is what separates them from the competition.
The March Pack is loaded, He comes with a cape, die-cast sword,
die-cast dolabra, die-cast pike, bottle, cutlery set, turf cutter, pot,
cup, bowl, carrier made of two sticks, and finally a leather bag which I
believe is for his bedding but done quote me on that one. |
|
Summary:
This figure is great and the improvement to the body is
most welcome. The next thing Ignite needs to improve on their figures is the
hands. Over all the March Pack in my opinion is a definite must have.
