| Hasbro Voice FX Duke from the Valor vs
Venom seris While doing some early Christmas
shopping I purchased a GIjOE Voice FX Duke which has Hasbro's New
Talking Technology. This figure definitely is one of the coolest and
innovative GIjOES I have ever seen. When you press button on his
belly he opens his mouth and shouts commands and slogans. This in
its self is very cool, but it gets better; the harder you press the
louder he shouts, also you can press the button rapidly and control the
tone and how he speaks.

Review
Duke
is part of the GIjOE Valor vs. Venom series and a great value. The
box is a open window type that is superbly decorated. The window
has a opening that you can try the figure's Voice Technology . This was
a good move on Hasbro's part it help me put this guy in my cart.

The head sculpt was very nicely done on our test figure. The quality was excellent with no
visual defects. One of the innovative features with the head sculpt is with
the detail Hasbro has incorporated in the mouth; when Duke opens his
mouth you see a full set of teeth and a
tong. |

| The body is a muscular type figure, but I believe it is
currently unique to duke and the Voice FX
Marine Squad Leader. The figure is very articulate and has a
nice weight to it. On the down side the hands are gloved with limited
articulation as compared to other modern Joes. If you open his
back there is a set of double A batteries, and yes batteries are
included. The costume is plain and simple and based on the cartoon
character. He has a short sleeve sweat shirt, Dockers, knee pads, really
cool boots, armored vest, Gauntlets and as mentioned a set of gloved
hands.

| In the accessories department this guy comes loaded. he
has every gadget you could ever want. Duke comes standard with a
helmet with night vision, smoke grenades, canteen, pistol, machine gun
with grenade launcher, grappling hook launcher, anti-tank missile
launcher, and mortar with bombs |

Summary:
Voice FX Duke is a winner with the new Talking
Technology and a price tag under $15 (Target and Kmart ) it should be a hit for Christmas. I do
have one recommendation buy two one for you and one for your kid, you
will be hard pressed to part with this guy.
