GI Joe WWI Aviator

March 1, 2004

The following review is the first of a four part series.

In 2000 Hasbro offered a special collection commemorating the WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam wars called the Millennium Series. The collection consist of four detailed figures with diorama from each war. This month we will be reviewing the first in the series representing a member of the 94th Aero squadron from WWI.

The figure comes packed in a plain white box which provides basic protection for the figure. However, once you open the the box and unpack the figure you will be taken back. The figure has a diorama of a wing section from plane making the figure very displayable

The head sculpt is nicely painted and very familiar I believe it has been used on more than one Joe before. The body is very articulate and poses well. Overall the figure is very solid and well done.

The costume is fantastic  and very detailed it consist of a full leather trench coat, leather pilots cap, scarf, and goggles, and a full WWI error uniform.

Summary:

This is a great figure and is definitely a keeper. Even though it is out of production you can find it on eBay for around twenty dollars.
