IIgnite's Roman Centurion

For more than a century Rome was the center of the world. The Roman Empire was created by means of conquest and assimilation. This was accomplished by having the first professional army. The Roman Army was a well disciplined and well equipped army for its day. The Roman army helped spread the empire in to parts of Europe and Africa and shaped the modern world. Today many of our political structures in the US are based on the roman republic.

At the heart of this great army was the Legionnaire (the common soldier) and his commander the Centurion. Centurions were in charge of 80 legionnaires. They demanded extreme loyalty and discipline from their men and enforced it with a stick made from vine.

For this months cover we have selected Ignites Roman Centurion. You will notice that he looks a lot like Russell Crowe from the movie Gladiator. This is a really outstanding piece that comes with a load of accessories that are all made out of die cast metal. This spring look for a review on Ignites Centurion series.
