The following are
the standards I use when evaluating an action figure for purchase.

C10 |
Perfect specimen this figure is mint in the box and has
never been opened since the day it was packed at the factory. Factory
perfect no defects or shelf wear. This is rare to find. |

C9 |
Almost perfect Figure includes the box it may have been
taken out and inspected. No wear on the figure it still looks like it was
strait from the factory. The box may show some minor shelf ware This figure
is still original and has not been restored. Excellent display piece. |
|
C8 |
This figure has minor wear or minor factory
defects, such as over spray, light and minor scratches on body, or minor
hair rubs. The figures joints are all are solid with no stress cracks,
and there are no missing parts on the figure or costume. None of these flaws
should be seen when figure is displayed. If this is a vintage figure it may
have been professionally restored. Key here is that the figure
looks good on displays well during up-close inspections. Note any
restorations performed on the figure need to be documented and kept with the
figure. |

C7 |
Figure has been played with and has one or two obvious flaws
such as loose joints, multiple scratches, hair rubs, faded paint, small
stress cracks, paint missing on rivets, or factory over spray. This figure
is intact and costume is clean and presentable. The figure may have been
professionally restored however no documentation is available.
This figure displays well however flaws are visible when viewed up close. |

C6 |
This figure has been signs of heavy use and play wear. The
figure can have three of the following; loose joints, heavy paint wear,
stress cracks, paint missing on rivets or rusted rivets, scratches and
scuffs, as well as heavy soil. This figure may be missing parts of its
costume but it is not nude. After being cleaned this figure is displayable
only from distance. |

C5 |
This figure has four or more of the following; loose joints,
heavy paint wear, stress cracks, paint missing on rivets or rusted rivets,
scratches and scuffs, damage head-sculpt as well as heavy soil. If there are
any signs of non professional restoration or repairs this is an automatic
C5. A C5 can also be nude and missing it's costume. This figure can not be
displayed without major work. |

C4 |
This figure has many flaws however all body parts are
intact, good for parts or challenging restoration project. |
|
C3 |
This figure is good for parts, missing one or more body
parts it may also contains major cracks and scratches. Parts can be
harvested for restorations. |

C2 |
Loose but in great shape parts to be used in restorations. |

C1 |
loose and busted parts ready for the trash can |

rips minor repairs have been. can be displayed only from a distance |

Major repairs, extreme wear, broken pieces, large melts,
splits or rips cannot be displayed |
